Product features
Need to purchase a sheet bending machine, that will help you complete the processing bends, not one that has the minimum tonnage and table size that you need. Also check the types of sheets used, their maximum length, and thickness. If it is low-carbon steel in sheets with a thickness of not more than 4 mm and a length of not more than 3200 mm, then the bending force can not exceed 125 tons. If you use MS with a thickness of 8 mm and a length of 3200 mm, purchase a bending machine with a bending force of 200 tons.
Material
Manufacturers of CNC plate bending machines usually determine the bending force parameters of the entire production line equipment. When using fasteners, the bending force increases by about 40-50% (compared to soft fasteners). In turn, when using soft aluminum, it will be reduced by half. Dynamic system of the deflecting bending machine With the same bending force, the deviation of the 3200 mm billet bending machine is 4 times greater than the deviation of the 2250 mm plate bending machine, so in the bending process, especially on the long billet, the deviation of the CNC bending machine will be reduced.
Angle
Why the angle of the mold is improved is to use a larger tonnage of the mold to bend (3 times more than when air bending). The elastic force can be avoided because the gap between the upper and lower tool at the bottom is less than the thickness of the metal, and there is sufficient bending force (12 times higher than in air bending), and the front tip of the upper tool touches the sheet. In order to choose a bending press with the lowest required tonnage, it is better to choose a press with a bending radius greater than the thickness of the sheet metal used. This can help to reduce the elastic force around the bending radius. Coining is the same as bending using a lower form for bending. The only difference is that the front end of the upper tool becomes the required bending radius.
Radius
When bending, the radius of the angle of inclination of the workpiece should also be taken into account. If the bending radius is close to or less than the thickness of the metal, a hollow mold must be used. When air bending, pay attention to the size of the gap between the die and the punch at the bottom of the stroke and the elastic compensation when bending by 90 degrees. The bending radius is 0.156 of the size of the V-shaped hole of the die. In the case of air bending, the size of the V-shaped opening of the die should be 8 times the thickness of the sheet. For example, The force, in this case, will be 4 times greater than when bending the air. At the bottom of the stroke, leave a gap slightly larger than the thickness of the metal sheet. In the case of air bending on a modern CNC sheet bending machine, the resulting elastic angle will be 2 degrees less. As mentioned above, the bending radius is 0.156 of the size of the V-shaped hole of the matrix, so with a normal bend, the angle will be approximately 90 degrees.
